Man Sentenced To 7 Years For eBay Scheme

A mother and son duo were sentenced to prison today after they were arrested for selling what they knew were stolen goods on eBay. The mother (Laura Wasz, 52) received 5 years, eight months and her son (Bruce Wasz, 33) received 7 years.

Basically they bought goods that were stolen from Home Depot and sold them on eBay. They were both ordered to forfeit $1M each.

Laura's father (and Bruce's grandfather) Ralph Amadeo said, "It's unfair. I feel sorry for both of them. They don't deserve this. My daughter's a sweet girl. She worked three jobs, day and night for her kids." Well Ralphy, it looks like you raised some criminals there buddy. How exactly is it not fair?
