Xbox 360 Controller

First we got limited edition E3 Xbox 360 faceplates appearing on eBay, when money starved journalists felt they must sell their free Xbox 360 memorabilia. Now an actual Xbox 360 controller has been sold. The auction closed on September 24th with the winning bidder having stumped up $91 + $10 shipping for the unreleased controller. The seller claims the item to be genuine, having received it whilst attending a developers conference. The controller also comes with a USB adapter so that it can be hooked up to a PC.

Even if the seller's story of receiving the controller at a conference is true, I highly doubt Microsoft are going to be overjoyed after seeing the controller for sale over a month before the Xbox 360's launch.

I'm sure Microsoft is THRILLED that xbox 360 gear is being sold a month before release. If they are buying accessories, they have to buy an xbox 360 to go with it.
