Paula Abdul & Corey Clark Go Crackers

Someone has created a collectable saltine cracker with the lifelike depictions of Paula Abdul and Corey Clark falling in love.

In case you don't know, Corey Clark is the American Idol that was kicked out because of some previous criminal history (I don't know specifically was it was, nor do I care enough to find out). Now he is trying to become famous again by telling everyone he did the nasty with Paula Abdul. There even was some special about it on TV this week (darn, I missed it though).

X-Wing Fighter For Sale

Nine of these bad boys were made, but one was destroyed in a truck crash, so that leave eight (for the math impaired).

There are not any bids currently (opening bid is $40,000), so if you ever wanted to be the supreme Star Wars dork of the universe, here's your chance. One of these things were actually auctioned off in the past for $135,000. Also, it should be noted that shipping is free on this thing (not sure if they are going to put it on a truck and bring it to you, or actually fly it).

Horny Animal Crackers

I'm sad to say that the bidding on this item has already ended, so you can't win it. Hopefully the winner donates it to a museum or tries to resell it at a profit, so we can see this artifact again in society.

What I find most interesting about it, is I think they are two different animals. I think it might be a baby cow getting it on with a goat or something. Anyway, decide for yourself.

Nuclear Bomb Fragment

On March 11th 1958, the US government accidentally dropped a nuclear bomb on Mars Bluff, South Carolina. While the nuclear warhead didn't go off, the TNT detonation that triggers the nuclear chain reaction did, and it left a crater 35 feet deep and 75 feet across.

The short version of this story is that some guy has a piece of that bomb about the size of a man's hand, and he is selling it on eBay.

Crystal (Clear) Pepsi

Remember when Pepsi tried to fool everyone in the early 90s when they made Pepsi clear and called it Crystal Pepsi? Well apparently there are crazy suckers out there that are willing to buy 10 year old soda on eBay. If they can get $30 a bottle for the stuff, maybe Pepsi should bring it back.

Hurry... bidding on this gem is only up to $15.04 so far! It was purchased on May 23, 1994 and was never opened. If my memory serves me correctly, I believe 1994 was an excellent year for cola.

Buying Money On eBay

A $10 bill was sold on eBay for $27,100 today. Granted, it's an old one that was purchased by some collector. It's a serial #1 note (meaning it was the first one printed) and features McKinley who was assassinated in 1901. What I find kind of funny, is the seller didn't want to go through the hassle of listing it on eBay themselves, so they sold it through an eBay drop-off store. Because of that, $5,420 of the selling price will go to the people that decided to list it for the owner (20% commission).

eBay Hacker Jailed

Jerome Heckenkamp (a 25 year old Los Alamos National Laboratory computer specialist) was sentenced to eight months in jail after pleading guilty to two counts of hacking. He admitted to breaking into eBay's computers in 1999 and installing a program that captured username and passwords, which he later used.

He has to report to prison no later than July 11.

Hmmm... that's awfully nice of them to let him come to prison at his leisure. Maybe he has to finish up the lease on his apartment or something.

eBay To Double Authorized Shares

In a regulatory filing, eBay is looking to increase the number of authorized common shares of stock to 3.6 billion. Isn't that exciting? No? Okay, I agree.

It's basically just to allow them to do a 2:1 stock split sometime in the future.

Scary Women Clean Your House

Three {cough, cough} supermodels will clean your house and cook for you for 3 days anywhere in the continental United States with their bikini's on. I'm sure they are really nice people of course, but if I won the auction, they would be wearing clothes (thankfully they have an escape clause for the winning bidder "Unless you would rather us wear clothes") and they would actually be cleaning.

Ball Of Tape

Here is a guy that seriously might want to consider doing something else with his life. He created a ball of scotch tape out of 1,000 rolls of tape. But even funnier is he created a website to document it.

Now, he is putting his 60 pound ball of tape up for sale on eBay. Bidding is currently up to $910, and the winning bidder will get an extra 500 rolls of tape to "complete" the ball (the Guinness record for a tape ball is 80 pounds, so it would be enough to tape to beat the record).

This auction smells like something that Golden Palace might swoop in to grab (although they have not bid on it at this point, with just under 2 days left on the auction).

UK General Election For Sale

With the general election in the United Kingdom approaching, voters have decided to sell their vote on eBay to the higher bidder (which of course is illegal).

eBay has been deleting the auctions as it find them, but I bet some of them slip through the cracks.

Unborn Triplet's Naming Rights Sold On eBay

It looks like Golden Palace Casino is looking to rename everyone in the world to "GoldenPalace.com". About a week ago, they bought the naming rights to a Tennessee woman for $15,199.

Now they bought the naming rights to a woman's unborn triplets for $12,000. One of the children will be named "GoldenPalace.com", while the other two children's names will not be released until they are born.

This seems like a much better deal than the other auction because you get to name 3 people (works out to $4,000 each, vs. $15,199 for the Tennessee woman). But more importantly, these are newborns, so they are going to live a lot longer than the Tennessee woman, so it will be a longer advertising period as well.
